Banana Barfi Recipe – Vegan
Barfi is a popular North Indian sweet. There are several varieties of barfi like Moong Dal Barfi, Kaju ki Barfi, Milk Barfi, Chocolate Barfi, Carrot Barfi, Doodhi Barfi and Pista Barfi. This barfi recipe has an interesting ingredient. Made with ripe bananas, Kele Ki Barfi is not just tasty, but healthy too. How to make Kele Ki Barfi Steps
- To start with, peel the banana (rice) and in a bowl, mash it properly either with your hands or with a spoon. Take a pan, keep it on medium heat and add milk in the pan. Once the milk heats a little, add mashed banana and cook until the milk dries up.
- Now add butter and stir continuously to achieve a brown colored mixture. Then add sugar, grated coconut and chopped walnut to the pan and stir. Cook for 6-7 minutes and remove from flame. Transfer the mixture to a plate which is greased with butter.
- Spread the mixture evenly and top with pistachios. Refrigerate for 10 minutes and cut the mixture into square barfi pieces.
