How to make Masala Pasta

Step 1 – Boil the pasta

Add 3 cups of water to a pan along with 1 tbsp salt. Add pasta and let it cook for 12-15 minutes. Once your pasta is 90% cooked, drain the water and wash the pasta once by pouring cold water on it. Drain all the excess water and set it aside.

Step 2 – Chop the veggies

Now finely chop the garlic cloves. Also, chop onion and capsicum. You can either chop the tomatoes or make a puree using them.

Step 3 – Prepare the masala

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a pan. Now add chopped garlic and onion. Saute for a few minutes. Add chopped tomatoes along with some salt. Mix well and let it cook for 5 minutes. Now add turmeric, coriander powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder and garam masala. Mix well and let the masala cook for 2-4 minutes more.

Step 4 – Add pasta

Add the boiled pasta to the masala and coat it well. Lastly, add tomato ketchup and mix everything well. Cook for 2 more minutes and turn off the heat.
