Sooji Pizza is a lip-smacking dish to try if you don’t want to indulge in unhealthy maida-based pizza. Sooji Pizza can be easily made at home with the help of bread. To prepare this healthy recipe, you just need brown bread slices, sooji, curd, malai, onion, tomato, capsicum, black olives, salt and black pepper powder. You can add some cheese on top to give the pizza a cheesy flavour, however, this step is completely optional and can be skipped. This pizza recipe is so easy to make as you can literally prepare it in just 20 minutes.

Sooji Pizza will be an instant hit among kids as well as adults. You don’t even need to bake this pizza, as you can easily cook it on a non-stick pan with just a few drops of oil. This Sooji Pizza will satiate your taste buds in a healthy way if you are currently following a diet. How to make Sooji Pizza

Step 1 – Prepare the mixture

Add sooji, curd, fresh cream to a bowl. Add salt, black pepper and give a nice mix to prepare a thick batter. Now add chopped onion, tomato, capsicum and mix well. Make sure the consistency of the mixture is thick.

Step 2 – Spread on slices

Place the brown bread slices on a plate and equally divide the mixture on each of them. Spread the mixture properly to cover the whole bread. Now add 1-2 tbsp of grated mozzarella cheese on each slice. Top it with some olive pieces and press down gently with your hands.

Step 3 – Cook the bread pizza

Now drizzle a few drops of oil on a non-stick pan. Place the bread slices on the tawa from the side on which the batter is spread. Let them cook until golden brown in colour. Now slip towards the other side and let it cook for two more minutes.

Step 4 – Ready to be served

Once all the slices are cooked, serve them with tomato ketchup and enjoy.

  • 4 slices brown bread
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 capsicum (green pepper)
  • salt as required
  • 4 tablespoon yoghurt (curd)
  • low fat mozzarella cheese as required
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1/2 tomato
  • 10 black olives
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon fresh cream
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
