How to make Dahi Tadka
Step – 1 Whisk the curd
Pour curd in a large bowl. Add black salt as per taste and whisk well. Now add cumin powder and mix well.
Step – 2 Prepare the tempering
Heat oil in a pan. Now add asafoetida, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves and saute for a minute. Add chopped garlic cloves to it and saute for two minutes. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and saute the masala for two minutes more.
Step – 3 Ready to be served
Pour the tempering on the whisked curd, give a gentle mix and serve. Pair up with curry or sabzi and enjoy.

- 3 cup yoghurt (curd)
- 2 stalks curry leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- black salt as required
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
