Besan Ka Cheela Recipe

Recipe Instant and easy to cook, tasty and healthy. Can have for breakfast, lunch, snack and Dinner. Tasty and light meal.

Each cheela takes 5 min to cook


  • Besan 1 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Vegetables
  • Onion 1 small
  • Green chilli
  • Kasturi methu 1 tea spoon
  • Coriander leaves 10
  • Spinach / mint 4 leaves
  • Chaat Masala half tea spoon
  • Rock salt as per taste

Wash and chop vegetables


  • Mix water in besan gradually and keep on stirring.
  • Stirring prevents lumps
  • Once this is smooth add finely chopped onion, coriander, green chilli , spinach and kasturi methi. salt and chaat masala.
  • Heat tava till hot.
  • Take 1 table spoon besan batter
  • Spread in circular shape.
  • Cook on medium flame.
  • Switch sides and cook till mild brown.

Serve hot with pudina chutney and tomato ketchup
